When AUTO POWER OFF or SHOOTING STAND BY MODE in POWER MANAGEMENT tab of SET UP menu is set to OFF, the power consumption of this camera may rise.

Charging specifications for this device

The power delivered by the charger must be between min 2.5 Watts required by the radio equipment, and max 15 Watts in order to achieve the maximum charging speed.

■ Cautions for AC charging

  1. Use a USB-IF certified AC adapter when charging with the camera. An AC adapter that complies with the USB Power Delivery Rev3.0/3.1 standard (15 W or more) is recommended.
  2. When using the optional BC-W235 dual battery charger, an AC adapter that complies with the USB Power Delivery Rev3.0/3.1 standard (27 W or more) is recommended.
  3. Be sure to read the manual for this product when charging with the camera.
  4. Note that we do not guarantee that all commercially available AC adapters can be used for charging.
  5. If any issues arise when using a commercially available AC adapter, remove the plug from the power outlet and The cable from the camera, respectively, to disconnect the power supply.

Network On/Off Method

AIRPLANE MODE (Options: ON/OFF)

  1. To access network/USB settings from the shooting or playback display, press MENU/OK and select the (network/USB setting) tab.
  2. Choose AIRPLANE MODE in the network/USB setting menu.
  3. Select ON to disable the camera's wireless LAN and Bluetooth features.

Bluetooth ON/OFF (Options: ON/OFF)

  1. To access network/USB settings from the shooting or playback display, press MENU/OK and select the (network/USB setting) tab.
  2. Choose Bluetooth/SMARTPHONE SETTING > Bluetooth ON/OFF in the network/USB setting menu.
  3. If ON is selected, the camera will automatically connect with paired smartphones or tablets running the smartphone app.

Note: Selecting ON for Bluetooth/SMARTPHONE SETTING > Bluetooth ON/OFF in the network/USB setting menu increases the drain on the battery.
