Connecting to the Network
When using network functions, you must configure the settings for network connection in advance.
Connecting via Wireless LAN
You cannot connect to a network in the following cases:
- When the wireless LAN function is turned off.
- When the camera is powered only by the supplied battery.
Connecting to a Detected Network
Select a network from those that the camera automatically detected to connect to.

Select NETWORK > WIRELESS LAN.

A list of automatically detected networks is displayed.
Select the network you want to connect to.
Press ON/OFF (Screen button 4) to enable or disable the wireless LAN function.
Press ADD (Screen button 6) to connect to a network that is not displayed (aConnecting to a Network Manually).

Enter the network password.

The camera connects to the network.
Connecting to a Registered Network
Networks once connected will be registered on the camera. Select a registered network to connect to or adjust the settings.

Select NETWORK > WIRELESS LAN.

A list of automatically detected networks is displayed.
Select a registered network.

Select CONNECT TO NETWORK.
Select PASSWORD to change the registered password.
Select IP ADDRESS SETTING to switch between automatic and manual IP address assignment. For manual assignment, use MANUAL IP ADDRESS SETTING to enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server information.
Select DELETE NETWORK to delete the registration information for the selected network.

The camera will be connected to the network.
Connecting to a Network Manually
Manually register network information and connect to networks that do not appear on the automatic detection list.

Select NETWORK > WIRELESS LAN.

A list of automatically detected networks is displayed.

Press ADD (Screen button 6).
Press ON/OFF (Screen button 4) to enable or disable the wireless LAN function.

The method for adding a network is displayed.
Select ENTER SSID AND ADD.
Select ADD USING WPS BUTTON to press the WPS button on the wireless LAN router and connect to the network.

Select SSID to enter the SSID.
Enter the network SSID on the input screen.

Select PASSWORD to enter the password.
Enter the network password on the input screen.

Set the IP address assignment method.
- Select AUTO to allow the camera to automatically obtain an IP address.
- When MANUAL is selected, use MANUAL IP ADDRESS SETTING to enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server information.

Select DONE.
The camera will be connected to the network.
Connecting via Wired LAN
The camera cannot be connected to a network when the camera is powered only by the supplied battery.

Connect the camera to a network using a LAN cable.

Select NETWORK > WIRED LAN SETTING.

Set the IP address assignment method.
- Select AUTO for IP ADDRESS SETTING to allow the camera to automatically obtain an IP address.
- When MANUAL is selected for IP ADDRESS SETTING, use MANUAL IP ADDRESS SETTING to enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server information.

The camera will be connected to the network.
